The Perfect Release Heavy Tension cord is a heavier guage cord, providing more resistance for the golfer with a very strong or very weak grip. Some people require more resistance to effectively teach them to relax their grip. The goal is to reduce and eventually eliminate manipulation of the golf club/clubface by the hands. Once the golfer learns a more neutral, relaxed grip and solid alignment of the hands arms and golf club, then the Perfect Release standard tension will work to remind him/her how to set the club squarely on plane.
