Each arm detaches in seconds with a push-pin release, freeing up space when it isnt holding your boards. Durable foam padding on each arm protects your boat from unwanted scratches and pressure dings. Each storage rack comes equipped with a foam floor pad that protects your board as well as the floor, and stops the board from slipping.
