This pump meets the requirement of an automatic-switch bilge pump for any vessels 20 feet and over with sleeping accommodations, and it is convenient and dependable for a boat of any size. This pump is a compact and durable package that includes the pump, wire seals, strainer, and mercury-free switch all in one unit that installs quickly and easily in tight spaces. It mounts horizontally only. This 12-volt, 1.5-amp draw pump is rated for 500 GPH performance at open flow (at voltage of 13.6 volts DC), and it draws only 1.5 amps at open flow. It comes with a 29-inch length of 16-gauge caulked and tinned copper wire, and uses a -inch interior diameter hose.
