Straps can take more direct shots than chains, but, our Grade 80 chains can take a beating. Chains give you a louder report and allow the target to swing more freely. Chains vs Straps really comes down to personal preference. Other kits use Grade 43 or lower chain, those are just not suited for shooting target applications and will break if hit even once.
