The security cable is intuitively and uniquely designed to fit through narrow spaces. The male end of the cable is the same width of the cable itself, just 10mm, allowing the cable to pass through narrow openings such as wheels, seat posts, gate posts and more. Cable is constructed of marine grade weatherproof steel, and vinyl coated to provide protection against the elements and prevent scratches to the secured item. The key lock consists of 5 levels of anti-rust protection: (1) The outer ABS hardened plastic shell, (2) the key hole cover is sand proof and splash proof to prevent debris and water intrusion, (3) The lock is constructed of marine grade steel, (4) the lock is coated in a protective sealant, and (5) the lock core is constructed of brass. NOTE: if salt water enters the locking mechanism, flush with fresh water and lubricate. The cable is lightweight and simple to carry. Simple to lock - just snap together, no key required to lock the cable. Flexible cable can easily wrap around multiple objects. Spare key provided, keep one as a spare! Cable lock set includes a mounting bracket so you can attach to bike posts - compatible with any post size 0.75 to 1.5 in diameter.
