The key lock consists of 5 levels of anti-rust protection: (1) The outer ABS hardened plastic shell, (2) the key hole cover is sand proof and splash proof to prevent debris and water intrusion, (3) The lock is constructed of marine grade steel, (4) the lock is coated in a protective sealant, and (5) the lock core is constructed of brass.
