NEWBAUMS CUSHIONED COTTON CLOTH BAR TAPE Our bicycle grip tape is made in the USA of highly durable milled cotton. We use eco-friendly dyes for a lower impact on the environment. Cotton is more sustainable than petroleum based EVA and polyurethane used in other bar ribbon tape. 7 feet x 1-1/4 rolls. Newbaums Cushioned Cloth Bar Tape is the ultimate tape for the most discerning cyclists who want that old school look and feel, but not comfortable with traditional unpadded cloth tape.With the addition of Neoprene back layer, you are getting one of the most comfortable bar tapes made today. Great for long rides. Finishing Tips: The tape can be coated with shellac to weather proof it. Amber shellac can be used to add an earthy tone to the wraps color. Clear shellac can also be used. Shellacing and wrapping tuturials can be found online. Finishing tape and end caps are not included. Tape ends can be finished with electrical tape or twine.The bar end side can be plugged with a cork or handlebar plug. We sell hemp twine and corks elsewhere.
