The main compartment, containing several mesh pockets and dividers, opens from the top and horizontally when the pack is rotated to the chest. The front external pockets serve as utility pockets, with the larger having a key holder clip. The Rambler makes a perfect CCW carry pack with quick access to all the compartments.
