This Spears 854-040 schedule 80 glass-filled PVC Class 150 Van Stone flange fitting has a 4 socket opening and is suitable for joining pipes or valves in a piping system or attaching a pipe to a flat surface or flange. The socket opening connects to pipes with a smooth bore for enhanced flow, and the bolt ring on the Van Stone flange rotates independently of the hub to aid in bolt alignment during installation. This flange fitting is made of glass-filled PVC (polyvinyl chloride) for chemical and corrosion resistance, and improved strength, stiffness, and dimensional stability over non-reinforced PVC. It is compatible with schedule 80 (thick wall) PVC pipes and fittings, and is suitable for chemical processing, industrial plating, chilled water distribution, deionized water lines, and chemical drainage and wastewater treatment systems.
