In the example below the client started by asking me if he could flick a table saw in the process of cutting two fingers. I did not panic. I stuck with his request and refined it. I was able to determine that the client had an accident where he lost two fingers and wanted to make a flashing pin to give out to his club members since they made fun of him. I didn't want to spend the extra money hiring an artist so I went in. I started by taking some artwork of a hand and making it look like the fingers were severed and then added elements that the client wanted. Next I created an LED diagram indicating where to put which color led, what order they fire, and the size and shape of the blink. I then created an animation of the blinking to show what it will look like when finished. Twenty two days later she got her blinks and she loves them. Click here for more examples. The standard size for custom turn signals is up to 1.5 square inches. The standard number of LEDs for custom turn signals is five (5) LEDs. Standard colors are LED, red, green, orange and yellow.
