The new Destron Braided Line is engineered with KastKings proprietary 2nd generation MultiTuf fibers, which are improved 100% Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene, to make this fishing line stronger and tougher. The fibers weight-to-weight ratio is 10X stronger than steel so that you have complete confidence in your fishing line under extreme conditions in both fresh and saltwater. MultiTuf fibers undergo a unique machine-induced reverse spin, pre-treatment. The fibers are spun in one direction, then they are unwound and braided together all the way back into a straight form. This is superior to a traditional process where the fibers are twisted during the braiding process. With the aggressive Diamond Weave process, the Destron fiber strands maximize tensile strength and toughness of the line creating a superior braid. Destron is made using our new CFT Color Fast Technology which is a no-fade, abrasion resistant coating that lasts longer and stays strong in heavy cover or rocky conditions. This cutting-edge fishing line braid uses CFT technology with UV-resistant pigments that wont fade over time. The ultra-thin diameter means you can use a thinner line without giving up strength or line capacity. The diameter-to-strength ratio is 75% thinner than most monofilament fishing lines so you get more power with thinner diameters which means more line capacity.
