Description
Reminder: Before purchasing a chainring guard, accurately measure the centre-to-centre distance between adjacent holes and count the number of chainring teeth. Select the guard based on your measurements. Inaccurate measurements may result in an improper fit! To select the correct chainring for your bike model, measure the following three parameters: 1: Count the teeth on the largest chainring (e.g., 42, 44, 46, 48, 50, 52) 2: Determine the number of bolt holes (4/5 holes?) 3: Measure the centre-to-centre distance between adjacent bolt holes. (Most critical parameter) Example: For a 44-tooth, 5-hole crankset with 8.2cm bolt spacing, select the corresponding guard model. How to install a chainring guard 1. Prepare installation tools: one screwdriver 2. Position the guard over the chainring, aligning the holes 3. Secure screws from the rear, initially loosely. Once all screws are in place, tighten them simultaneously
