The High Performance 2:1 system also cures with slightly better flexibility than traditional 5:1 epoxy resin systems so its especially suitable for wooden boats that flex during use or with temperature and humidity changes. The three hardener choices let you control working properties and cure times to suit your particular conditions. 2:1 Slow Hardener is best for warmer conditions and has the longest working and cure times. At 77F, gel time is 40 minutes & full cure is 5 days. 2:1 Medium Hardener is ideal for most common applications. At 77F, gel time is 25 minutes & full cure is 3.5 days. 2:1 Fast Hardener is for use in cooler conditions and has the fastest cure and shortest pot life.
